unable to check htaccess file

Permission denied: /home/USERNAME/public_html/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

for fix, follow the procedure below:

cd ~USERNAME

chmod a+rx public_html

    So you need to have shell access to be able to do that. Do you know of a fix without shell access?

    usually you can’t see the error message unless you’re root and you see the sites showing up that error.

    but without shell access you can’t do it.

    i can try fixing it up for you.
